Wide Receiver D.J. Coles Commits to VT
by Will Stewart, TechSideline.com

The Hokies picked up their 18th commitment of the 2008 recruiting class, and their highest-rated in-state player yet,  when Goochland athlete D.J. Coles committed Friday night. Coles is the #6 rated player in the state in TSL's newly-released preseason rankings and is Tech's second top-ten commitment of the class.

"D.J. gave a verbal commitment to Tech earlier today," Goochland head coach Joe Fowler told TechSideline.com Friday night. "He committed with the condition that there is a chance he may have to go to prep school. He has a chance to qualify and to enroll with the 2008 class, but he may have to go to prep school and enroll with the '09 class."

Coles, who is 6-3 and weighs 198, is being recruited to play wide receiver for the Hokies.
