Virginia Tech went to the state of New Jersey to land commitment #14. Zach Luckett, a 6-3, 205-pound athlete out of Holy Spirit High School in Absecon, chose the Hokies today over Boston College as well as offers from quite a few schools from the ACC, Big East and Big Ten, respectively. He announced his decision on ESPNU Thursday evening. A 3-star prospect as rated by Rivals.com and Scout.com, Luckett is an outstanding athlete who could play a variety of positions on the next level. Virginia Tech is recruiting him initially as a wide receiver, but don't be surprised if he ends up somewhere else - either on offense or defense. His future position may depend heavily on how he develops physically. Stay tuned to TSL for comments from Zach on his commitment to Virginia Tech. Click
