Robertson (6-3, 285, 4.9 forty), ranked the #13 player in the state by TSL, is the first Top-30 player to commit to any school. His mother confirmed the commitment when contacted by TSL's Chris Horne. "He just called to tell me about it," Daryl's mother, Lyvern Robertson, said. "We had spoken last night and I knew he was going to do it this morning." Robertson is VT's fourth commitment for the 2006 recruiting class, joining OL Clark Crum, WR Jacob Sykes, and DE Mike Gee.
