Turkey Bites

  • Keep an eye on Cornell Brown this Saturday. The Tech coaching staff is saying that they're going to move him around. Look for him to shift before the snap, and look for him to maybe even line up in a two-point stance (that's standing up, for you football neophytes). Cornell and the coaches have had enough of the double- and triple-teams, and they're ready to spring him loose.
  • Channel 10 reported Wednesday night that the Ox has been participating in full-speed drills and is ready to play on Saturday. They also reported that Stith will back him up, so it looks like Parker is still out. Keep an eye on the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Roanoke Times links on my Links page to keep yourself up to date on his status, because an official announcement has not been made yet.
  • Lastly, Vaughn Hebron has signed a three-year contract with the Denver Broncos. Monetary terms were not disclosed.

Now, Hokie fans, proceed to the Mailbag page, and then be sure to check out My Opinion on the upcoming Syracuse game. See you back here later!
