GAMES OF SATURDAY, NOVEMBER

ABC, GamePlan
Texas A&M
4-5 (2-3 Big XII)
-30.5
#1 Oklahoma
9-0 (5-0 Big XII)
I don't think that anyone
is sneaking anything past the Sooners this year. Talking about
coaching! It isn't a matter of Oklahoma winning anymore, it's
just a matter of by how much. I'd like to give aTm the benefit
of the doubt and grant them a close game, but seeing as how OU likely
has revenge in mind, it could get ugly.
Pick: OU

#3 Florida State
8-1 (6-0 ACC)
Clemson
5-4 (3-3 ACC)
The Bowden Bowl just
doesn't have the "zing" that it used to. Florida State is
on cruise control in the ACC, and there's more talk of a new coach
at Clemson than there is of a conference title.
That being said, it sure would be nice
if someone in the ACC could step up to the table. I
mean seriously, this may be the worst Florida State offense in a
decade. But no one has been able to take advantage.
Pick: FSU

#13 Tennessee
6-2 (3-2 Big East)
-12.5
#4 Miami (FL)
7-1 (3-1 Big East)
Oh the mixed feelings
here. On the one hand, a Miami win helps our schedule strength.
But really that only matters if we think we've got a chance at the
Sugar Bowl. Of course a loss probably puts us above them in
the polls for good.
Pick: Miami

#20 Michigan State
7-2 (4-1 Big Ten)
-7
#5 Ohio State
8-1 (4-1 Big Ten)
Another week, another
white knuckle victory for the Buckeye faithful.
Besides uniform color and "tradition"
I'm not sure what the difference is between Ohio State and TCU.
Pick: MSU

#6 Virginia Tech
7-1 (3-1 Big East)
#25 Pittsburgh
6-2 (3-0 Big East)
No letting up now.
Defeating Miami was great, but we are by no means finished with
what we have to do. Lest we forget, UPitt has beaten us two
straight, and fancies themselves for a third.
Well too [darn] bad for them.
I didn't scream myself hoarse just to beat Miami. I
mean it's nice and all, but by my count we've got four more blanks
on our dance card. It is a road game though, so there isn't
as much that we fans can do. Except for those of you making
the trip. I'm jealous personally, but will be happy if you
folks can make enough noise for those of us sitting in the bar to
hear it.

UCLA
6-3 (4-1 Pac Ten)
-9.5
#15 Washington State
7-2 (4-1 Pac Ten)
UCLA controls their
own destiny in the Pac Ten. Upset loss to Stanford or not,
the Bruins will play in the Rose Bowl if they can win out.
But I doubt that they can. They
have not beaten anyone of worth, and are only just now getting around
to playing the Pac Ten heavies. They are the Louiseville of
the West Coast, and nothing more.
Pick: UCLA
1:00 pm EST
Buffalo
1-9 (1-5 MAC)
-23
#22 Northern Illinois
8-1 (4-1 MAC)
All the blather about
non-equity inclusion in the BCS is just that. Their best chance
in years, and the MAC goes and eats itself. At this rate,
we're going to end up watching Toledo vs. Marshall again in the
MAC title game...
Pick: NIU

CBS
#23 Mississippi
7-2 (5-0 SEC)
-7.5
Auburn
6-3 (4-1 SEC)
What a mess we've got
in the SEC. The East title could end up being decided by a
vote , of all things, and the West is not much better.
Ole Miss leads, but is a TD underdog to Auburn tonight and will
face LSU later in the season.
Pick: Mississisppi

Rutgers
4-4 (2-1 Big East)
-7
Connecticut
7-3
This is a must win game
for Rutgers. No kidding. 4-4 is pretty good for the
Knights, and if they can pull this one off they can actually start
dreaming of bowl eligibility.
I feel unclean.
Pick: Rutgers
