TE Greg Nosal Commits to the Hokies
by Will Stewart, TechSideline.com

Kellam High School (Virginia Beach, VA) star tight end Greg Nosal made his decision today and informed the media at a late afternoon gathering at his high school. Where did the 6-7, 255-pound recruit commit? Virginia Tech. Nosal is the latest in a landslide of July commitments for the Hokie program.

Nosal, ranked the #22 player in the state by TechSideline.com, plays tight end and defensive end for Kellam. He is being recruited by Virginia Tech initially as a tight end, but there is a chance that, with his frame, he could end up at offensive tackle. A good athlete, he plays basketball as well as football.

Nosal’s commitment gives Virginia Tech 13 verbal commitments – and seven from the state of Virginia - in the 2007 recruiting class. Amazingly, 11 of the commitments have come in the month of July and the Hokies are looking to add to this number as early as tomorrow.

For comments from Greg on why he picked the Hokies, please see our TSL Pass update, which will be posted soon.
