Virginia Tech 1997 Numerical Football Roster
At the time of its posting in early September, this roster included all the invited walk-ons, but not all of the players who may have joined the team since school started. Please note that the fact that a freshman is on this roster and in the program will not necessarily mean he is not going to be redshirted.
The heights and weights on this roster were current as of August 29, 1997.They are more recent than the figures listed in Tech’s media guide and can thus be considered more accurate, but again, they are only correct as of late August.
This roster will probably not be updated throughout the season, because I’ll be too busy. If I do update it, I’ll change the date at the top of the page. Please excuse any typos. Note: VL= varsity letters.
